Nannette Garrett, Vice
President/Executive Director of Georgians Opposed to Prohibition Lobby, a
Georgia-based conservative think tank, whose mission is to examine problems
preventing, and apply conservative principles toward, enacting an effective
drug policy in Georgia.
Nan has a long history in politics in Georgia, serving various roles in the
Democratic Party, working to start the Green Party in Georgia, and most
recently running for Governor of Georgia as a Green Party candidate. She has
extensive experience in grassroots organizing, building public awareness and
coalitions, and fundraising. Nan has a B.A. in Political Science and
History, as well a J.D. in law from Mercer University. |
