Hugh Cort 2008 Presidential Campaign

As you probably already know, I am a Christian conservative. What you do not know is that I did not make this decision lightly. A lot of thought and prayer went into this decision. In fact, I believe God has called me to run for the presidency to get America back to God so He can bless us and protect us.

 

I believe America has gotten away from God’s protection by continuing to kill unborn babies in their mothers’ womb and by violating God’s holy sacrament of marriage by pushing for legalized homosexual marriage and civil unions and actually legalizing homosexual marriage in Massachusetts and civil unions in six states.

 

Aside from being a staunch Christian conservative who is opposed to homosexual marriage and abortion, I am a fiscal conservative. I am against raising taxes and want to make the Bush tax cuts permanent while reducing government spending. I also want to reduce the regulatory burdens on business.

 

On national defense it is important you know I am an internationally recognized counter-terrorism expert. I travel the country speaking about terrorism and how we must stop it. National security is the number one issue facing this country and I am the one candidate with the expertise to ensure the safety of you and your family. I also believe we need to secure our borders to stop the illegal alien invasion of our country.

 

This campaign is about doing what is right for America and what is right for Americans. It is about preserving the traditional Judeo-Christian values our nation was founded upon.

 

I am serious about this campaign and will work hard to win your vote because when I turn myself over to God and allow Him to work through me, great things he can do! I can be the Christian conservative America needs in 2008. As Saint Paul said in Philippians 4:13, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
